What to Expect
What to Expect
Our club is not just for sword fighting, it is for sword mastery (or as masterfully as you can get with duct tape swords meant for fun). Each week there will be new exercises and games to enhance your sword fighting skills, followed by weekly battles. Once a month there will be a tournament where pages can become squires, and one squire can become a knight. Each knight will move up to the next skill level to compete against more difficult challengers.
Arm and Leg hits are worth 1 point.
To win a battle, you must earn 3 points.
To win a battle during a tournament, you must earn 5 points.

Sword Wars will meet every Saturday from 9:30-Noon.
Address:
41587 N Jackrabbit Rd
San Tan Valley, AZ 85140
The first 30 minutes will be spent going over the rules. If you have attended a club meeting before and feel confident with the rules, you do not need to arrive until 10:00.
For safety reasons, at this time, Pages, Squires, and Knights must either rent a sword or purchase a custom sword from the King, the Commander, and Goggles. This may change at a later time, however, it is the only way we can make sure that the swords meet the safety standards aside from tearing them apart.
Fee:
There is a $1/child participation fee every Saturday.
Sword Rental is $4/day (It is allowed to share swords if you are willing to do so--generally not everyone will be fighting at once)
Custom Swords start at $25 each. Please see the price list for more information.
(Mom note here: 100% of the profits go back into building the Sword Wars Club and making it better. The boys who thought up this idea have already put a ton of work into coming up with games and events to make this a blessing for our community. They are attempting to make the swords/club affordable for everyone while still making enough money to pay for the cost of the swords and the many hours' worth of work they have already put into making them. We parents are super proud of them!)
